UltraScape Cempoint is pre-blended with specialist cements and graded fillers and supplied in 20kg paper bags. The simple addition of water produces an easily gun injected pointing mortar, which has excellent compatibility and is resistant to freeze-thaw weather conditions. UltraScape Cempoint is suitable for joint widths of between 5-25mm and in joint depths of 25-100mm.Preparation
Paving All joints must be free from any loose debris, clean and pre-soaked with water. Remove all ponded water prior to application but ensure that joints remain wet while the product is used. Re-pointing Cut or grind loose friable mortar to provide a clean, open-faced cavity. Ensure the surface is free from oil, paint, algae etc. Remove all dust created by grinding with a brush, before pre-soaking the area about to receive the pointing mortar. Do not apply product to areas with ponded water. Mixing Place up to 3.2 litres of clean water into a suitable drum or forced action mixer. Add the contents of the 20kg bag of UltraScape Cempoint and mix between 3-5 minutes to achieve an even smooth mix. Allow material to stand for 5 minutes before application. Placing Transfer material into a wet mortar gun with a trowel. Ensure there is good contact with substrate during application. Move steadily along the prepared joints to ensure a quality finish. Finishing UltraScape Cempoint should be tooled off whilst wet to the required profile by the use of a standard pointing tool. Ensure all material is removed from the face whilst still wet. The area can accept pedestrian traffic after 12 hours and vehicular traffic after 24 hours. To view our extensive range of landscaping products click hereChristmas Delivery Schedule
