Fire Rated Backer Rods are designed for fire resistant joint sealing. Made from workable, mineral wool based backing material wrapped with a glass-fibre yarn. Along with flat joint backer foam that is recommended for reducing the depth of joints in construction/glazing use. Creating a backstop to allow proper sealant tooling.
