EVT Prime Colours

Elastic single-component silicone sealant for indoor and outdoor use, with 25% maximum movement tolerance. For sealing joints and connecting joints in glass and window construction, in metal construction, in the sanitary sector, in roofing and plumbing works, in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning engineering.

EVT Prime Colours cures upon reaction with moisture, remains permanently elastic, is non-ageing, contains biocide, is durable and non-paintable. An application test is recommended prior to use. Do not use on natural stone. Use EVT Natural Stone HPM for marble and natural stone applications.

Areas of Application

EVT Prime Colours silicone is used for sealing joints in glass, window construction, in metal construction, in sanitary applications, in roofing and plumbing works, in heating, ventilation and air conditioning engineering units.

EVT Prime Colours must not be used in aquarium construction, on marble or natural stones. It should not be used as a mirror adhesive and in areas where there is direct food contact.

Prime Colours can be used to seal construction units that are subsequently filled with water. These applications require precise tooling (preparation of substrate; often primer necessary). Underwater joints must be checked on a regular basis and should be maintained from time to time. Not suitable for Polypropylene and certain Polyethylene products.

Dow Corning Firestop 400 Acrylic Sealant is a one-part, fire rated intumescent acrylic sealant designed for internal perimeter pointing of fire rated door and window frames, where the integrity of fire walls or partitions need to be maintained. It has good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates without the use of primer.

It has intumescent qualities which enable the material to swell under heat conditions producing a fire and smoke resistant seal. Dowsil Firestop 400 Acrylic Sealant does not emit halogenated byproducts under fire conditions.

Dowsil 786 is a food grade silicone rubber sealant for surfaces, showers, tubs, sinks and plumbing fixtures which contains an antimicrobial. Product has been tested against a spectrum of microbes.

Uses

Dowsil 786 Silicone Sealant is designed to seal nonporous surfaces around showers, tubs, sinks and plumbing fixtures where conditions of high humidity and temperature extremes exist.

Arbokol 2150 is a very high polymer content, two part Polysulphide Sealant which cures once the two components are mixed together to give a hard wearing but flexible seal. Arbokol 2150 has good adhesion to concrete, stone, many metals, ceramics and many other common construction substrates.

Recommended

• Joints in Flat Roofs.
• Floor Joints with Heavy Traffic
• Water Retaining & Sewage Structures

Not recommended

• Joints subject to large and frequent movement.
• Not suitable for use with potable water.

Arbo Arbokol 683 Pouring Grade Sealant 1.2L

Arbokol 682 Pouring Grade is a Two-Part Epoxy Polysulphide Sealant, which should fully encapsulate the glass within an appropriate channel in accordance with the relevant British Standard.

When the components are mixed together, it cures to form an extremely tough sealant with a small degree of movement accommodation. Arbokol 682 Pouring Grade has a self levelling formulation for quick and ease of use. The product has good adhesion to glass, concrete, stone, metals and many other common building substrates.

Two Part Epoxy Polysulphide Sealant
Available in both Gun Grade and Pouring Grade versions

Suitable for

Glass balustrades

Specifically designed for use against Marble, Granite, Pre Cast Concrete and other sensitive natural or manmade substrates where other sealants may cause staining.

Also recommended for perimeter sealing on curtain walling and perimeter sealing of polyester powder coated and UPVC frames when the abutting substrate is a natural stone.

Arbo Arbomeric MP20 Sealant 380ml

Arbo Arbomeric MP20 is a one part high modulus modified polymer sealant which cures on exposure to moisture vapour to form a tough but elastic rubber.

Arbo Arbomeric MP20 is recommended for use in many forms of construction including structural joints in heavy cladding, structural movement joints in floors and floor joints in heavily trafficked areas.

NB Not recommended for joints in lightweight cladding and swimming pools.

Is over-paintable once fully cured; pre-use tests are advised to demonstrate compatibility with individual paints.
