Ardex K 40 Hb Fibre Reinforced High Build Levelling & Smoothing Compound
ARDEX K 40 HB is a fibre-reinforced, high-build levelling and smoothing compound designed for applications ranging from 3 mm up to 40 mm. It hardens rapidly and can be walked on in as little as 2 hours, regardless of thickness, minimising disruption on active sites, particularly those constantly in use by customers or other trades. With almost double the working time of competitor products, trowel marks smooth out easily, joins between mixes can be spiked up to 30 minutes after application, and there's little or no additional preparation needed before fitting. Applications up to 5 mm can receive resilient floor coverings, including timber, after 6 hours, while thicker applications up to 40 mm are ready after 48 hours. Ceramic floor tiles can be fixed just 2 hours after application.
